Where Brook and River Meet – Memories of a Lincolnshire Childhood

Although this book reflects life with garden fêtes, trips to the coast and local theatricals in the village of Nettleham and the City of Lincoln it was mirrored in many villages and towns throughout much of England. From October 1993 to January 1994 this book was read by Sue herself as a serial on Radio Lincolnshire. It was received with great interest, in part at least, as it recalled life as it really was without the all too frequent additives of sex and violence.
