The author recounts the story of his family from 1882 to 1932 – through the tragic loss of both his father and grandfather, and through the changes from sail to steam power. This is a beautifully written story and is typical of any fisher family of the era. It serves to impress upon the reader, the toils of many men, providing our island with fresh fish.
