With their recent purchase The Boston Woods Trust have reached a major milestone - they now own 100 acres of land - in their quest to create new woodland, parkland and meadows in the area.
The Trust runs Westgate Woods, Beech Wood, Grange Wood as well as the Sir Joseph Banks park and is inviting people to find out more at an open meeting at the Unitarian Meeting House, Boston to be held on October 21st at 7pm. A speaker from the Environment Agency will be talking about the Boston Barrier and the Donington-Surfleet water link.
