Getting in the Christmas Spirit
11th December 2011. Christmas at St Edith's: Come to the beautiful church at St Edith at Coates to enjoy an afternoon of Christmas peace and joy. From 2.30 pm we are offering you a quiet time with the opportunity for personal reflection followed by refreshments and carols. For more information call Pauline Organ 01427 788629.
17/18th Dec 2011. Christmas Tree Spectacular: At St Clement's Church, Fiskerton. Open 11:00-16:30. Twelve individually decorated trees by village clubs and organisations. Live music, tea, coffee, mulled wine and mice pies.
4th Feb 2012. St Gilbert Annual Lecture: At Billingborough Church and village hall, South Kesteven, Lincolnshire on St Gilbert's Day from 09:0-17:00. This year three speakers (Glyn Coppack, Paul Cope-Faulkner and John Wilford) will talk on the topic of Sempringham, the place where a large church and monastery once stood. They will discuss the foundation of the Gilbertine Order, up to the present Day. Contact Alison Greig on 01778 440140 for further information.
