Great email this afternoon - Luke Adams, Production Journalist for Estuary TV, the local TV channel for East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, looking for Dick Heath. They want to interview him about 30 Poems of Lincolnshire - which I've just added to my website.
A Collection of poems that reflects the author's Lincolnshire roots and the love he has for the county, as well as a light hearted look at life.
Many local areas and sights as well as memories are mentioned such as Cadwell Park, Yellerbellies, rabbit pies, cow pats along with Colditz style wards, tripe, Yorkshire pudding and Teddy boys.
Dick Heath, the author, was born to a farming family in Faldingworth in the 1930s. He helped on the farm but also trained as a mechanic and is still very interested in Classic Cars as well as the history of Lincolnshire and his family's history. He is married with four children and four grandchildren.
