The Royal Navy in Lincolnshire

Lieut E C Coleman RN Ret Richard Kay Publications

With no naval ports in the county there is nevertheless a considerable naval association.  Matthew Flinders, Bass, Banks and Australia; Franklin and the North West Passage; HMS Lincoln, Grimsby, Wrangle, Brocklesby and others; HMS Royal Arthur ‘sunk’ many times during the last war (a training camp at Skegness) and much more.

The book briefly covers the recorded naval associations of the county since before there was a Royal Navy until the 1990s.
