This superb collection of stories and images is a truly memorable, even nostalgic, record of Lincolnshire's landscape and the people who have made their living from it.
Using 130 images gathered from the many farming communities in the county, Alan Stennett looks at how the people of Lincolnshire have met the challenges and opportunities presented by the ever-changing face of agriculture over the last century.
Alan Stennett, the son of a Lincolnshire farmer, is a farming journalist and the producer of Lincolnshire Farming for BBC Radio. He is the author of many books and articles about his native county, including Nobbut a Yellerbelly, Lost Railways of Lincolnshire and Memories of Lincolnshire Farming – all of which are also available through this site.
