JK Rowling surprised a book group by turning up at a meeting as they discussed one of her novels. The Saturday Slaughters book group at Orkney Library were discussing the Cuckoo's Calling, a crime novel written under JK Rowling's pseudonym, Robert Galbraith, Apparently it came about following an announcement on Twitter.
They quizzed her about her work and she was given Lemon Drizzle cake and a tour of the library.
