Times, dates and locations
An Archdeacon's Visitation is when each parish's churchwarden is sworn in for the next year of office. It is a legal requirement, but also a chance to meet the Archdeacon and other diocesan staff, and to socialise with churchwardens from the area.
A collection is taken at the services in aid of the Bishop's discretionary fund.
